Fjord Construction is a Design/Build Contractor.  As a Design/Build Contractor, we are responsible for the entire project from inception to completion...  accountable for the engineering, architecture, and bringing the project to a "turnkey" completion.

Our office collects all background information such as survey plats, code regulations, use information, and any client special requests.  We prepare the initial plans and based on those plans, we develop a cost estimate within +/- 10%.  With client approval, we hire engineers and architects who will prepare construction documents for permits and the building process.  The cost is updated as needed and based on the final price, a contract is executed.  Concurrently with this and the client's approval, construction starts.

Is your project estimate too expensive?  We can help!  Value Engineering is a process where we will review your project, whose design may have been completed by a third party, with total economy in mind.  The evaluation determines the where... the how... and how much a project can be modified to reduce project costs while maintaining  project functionality.  Modifications and savings are presented to the client for review and execution.
